Hey guys, I remember a while back a topic came up about door hinges. The place that I work at does not sell the pit kits, but someone put up some part numbers for like Auto Zone or something. Do you still have these numbers?

For my 1996 its Autozone, Motormite part # 38410 Their listed as F150 Pins, but their exactly what's needed for my year.

Mike might be able to say if their the same for other years.

It's hard to find cheap help + parts these days,you need to have
a little fun with these projects.
Alot of these Threads are repeated.

Mcgiver ran out of duct tape, o no.

The doorman (HELP) part number is 38438 Auto Zone is the cheapest about 8.00 The application is 1991 to 2005.

You know, thats what I was trying to avoid with Mccgiver. I noticed that when someone posts here, he will either reply with something complete off the topic or off the wall. And again, instead of helping myself, he stats that posts are often repeated and its hard to find good help...

Not really sagging b/c I put a alighment shim in the bottom hinge (he he) I have to get to my buddys shop and hold the door with the engine hoist and replace the pins...

Hey Mike, you have said in the past that if the hinge itself isn't worn out to badly, that replacing the pins and bushing will do the trick. Since I havn't done this before on a LTC what exactly am I lookikng for far as wear is concerned?

Hi Bryan

I didn't see your post until today. Look at the holes where the bushings seat in. If the bushing is worn away bad enough the pin will start to wobble the round hole out to an oval. At that point the hinge is just about junk.
