Question about rear brakes on 2000 Town Car
Auto Tag: Town CarDoes anyone know if the piston can be compressed back into place or does it need to be turned?
Also, since it has ABS, does the bleeder need to be open when the piston is compress or turned (I have read that this can cause issues on some ABS cars).
Thanks!

Hello, the just push right in. You should not have to turn them. As far as the bleeder goes, I would not open the bleeder unless you want to flush the system. Hope this helps.

If when they are driving and they feel a more than usuall pulsate, then they will have to change the caliper and fluid, b/c the particles are clogging up the line and are damaging the ABS unit. Hope this helps...
