Slow get up and go with egr problem

Hey guys i have a 95 tc signiture series and have a lil small problem. When i first start my car and start to go, the car barley moves. THe pedal can be on the floor and it will stumble at like 5mph but then all of a sudden will kcik in and take off. Tough to tell after im going if my pick up is a little slow. It feels a tid slow but i also mainly drive a 350z so im used to that acceleration. Any one have any idea what could be causing it. Im also throwing a code for excessive egr flow but research shows it could be either the cylnoid or the DPFE sensor. But since egr comes in after the car is warmed up and i dont think thts the issue. Transmission was just rebuilt to in the car. any help would be appreciated.
