Yes it will. It will have slightly taller gears because it was designed for a 4 cylinder. It will cruise at a lower RPM, but you may find yourself downshifting to go up big hills.

Thanks for the info on gearing. I was wondering how to overcome the ill effects of larger tires and wheels (195/50-15) on gearing in my 94 Metro. Looks like I need the trans out of a convertible to make up the difference.

Those are the size tires I'm gonna be running on my new convertible project. I still have my 195/60 R14's, but they spin too much. Those rims are still available if anyone is interested
